Bennett hosts modern digital warfare – what can we learn from the past?

The first Briefing event for Bennett saw clients and colleagues gather at Bennett’s boardroom for an captivating discussion led by Tom Jreige, former CEO of Adisyn and moderated by Principal Thaw Thaw Thin.

With over 25 years of cyber security expertise, Thomas shared invaluable insights, emphasising the crucial alignment of security measures with business objectives. The session focused on the significance of learning from both historical successes and failures, highlighting the perpetual vulnerability of entities, regardless of size, to cyber threats. As Einstein famously remarked, repeating the same security measures and expecting invulnerability is akin to insanity. Thomas emphasised that while cyber standards aim to mitigate risks, recent data breaches serve as reminders of their fallibility, given their human-designed nature.

Following the presentation, attendees were invited to unwind and network over drinks and canapes, fostering further discussions on the evolving landscape of digital security.
