End of year celebration for Bennett Briefing series

We had the pleasure of hosting our Bennett Briefing end of year celebration last Thursday.

This was an evening of relaxed networking and meaningful conversation, bringing together clients, colleagues and industry professionals to discuss the pressing issues shaping the regulatory landscape.

During the event, Principal Thaw Thaw Htin thanked guests for their ongoing support of the Bennett Briefing series, which first launched in 2023 as a platform to share practical insights and facilitate dialogue around complex regulatory, commercial and governance topics.

This year’s Briefings featured two exceptional speakers:

  • Nathan Lynch, renowned financial crime expert and author, who explored the growing challenges of dark money, financial crime risks, and Australia’s evolving anti-money laundering reforms; and
  • Brian Smith, risk specialist, who led a thought-provoking discussion on the changing risk landscape from responding to a cyber crisis to navigating the regulatory and ethical challenges of artificial intelligence.

Each session provided our guests with valuable perspectives and actionable takeaways, reinforcing Bennett’s commitment to thought leadership and professional collaboration.

We extend our sincere thanks to all who attended and contributed to the success of the 2025 Bennett Briefing series. We look forward to continuing these important conversations in 2026.
