B-Treat 2025

Bennett recently came together for our biennial firm retreat (the B-Treat), held at the beautiful Mandoon Estate.

The B-Treat is an opportunity for our team to step away from the day-to-day, reflect on the past 24 months and reconnect with the values and vision that guide our work. It’s also a chance to look ahead and invest in the conversations, ideas and relationships that will shape the continued growth of Bennett.

This year’s B-Treat jumper design draws inspiration from the striking artwork that hangs proudly in our foyer, Ngurra, meaning “our country, our place of belonging.” This painting was a collaborative work between Allery Sandy, Marlene Harold, Melissa Sandy, Justina Willis and Jenna Evans. Ngurra reflects themes of identity, culture, and community, values that align closely with the spirit of B-Treat and the broader Bennett ethos.

As part of Bennett’s continued celebration and contribution to Indigenous Culture we were pleased to include a Welcome to Country, led by Nick Abraham, Warrang Bridil.

This year’s retreat featured inspiring sessions including, Self-Leadership with James Bryant, Perseverance in the Face of Adversity and Living a Life in the Arena with Patrick Hollingworth and a teambuilding exercise “The Foundations of Effective Teamwork”.
