Bennett – Setting a new precedent

From today, Bennett + Co becomes Bennett – Litigation and Commercial Law. The new name coincides with the firm’s relocation to expanded, state-of-the-art offices in Westralia Square in the Perth CBD. With its strategic focus, agile project management and market leading experience in litigation, intellectual property, and commercial law, Bennett will work with and serve its clients and the community better than ever before. The changes ensure Bennett will remain a pre-eminent Western Australian legal firm for decades to come.

Since it was founded in 2011, Bennett has been at the forefront of Western Australia’s legal landscape, rising to become one of the state’s top litigation and dispute resolution firms. With its experienced, high-performing team, Bennett is capable of handling the largest and most complex legal matters.

Bennett’s founding Principal, Martin Bennett, is one of Western Australia’s most respected litigators, having appeared as counsel in over 1,000 matters at all levels of the Australian Court system. Mr Bennett described the latest evolution of Bennett: “We have always been an evolving force and we’ve grown to be one of the largest and most experienced litigation practices in Western Australia. At Bennett, we are one team, relentlessly pursuing the best outcomes for our clients both inside and outside of Court. For us it’s a privilege to practise law at Bennett and we approach every case with exactly the same enthusiasm and intellectual vigour”.

Managing Principal, Nathan Ebbs, stated: “The way we practise law separates us from other firms. For us this has to be universal – no matter who you deal with at Bennett, the approach is the same. The unique Bennett way forms the core of our principles, beliefs, and methodology. It’s what drives us to work harder towards securing the best results for our clients every single day. Bennett is who they need, when it matters.

Bennett’s sustained growth and evolution shows that the specialist litigation and dispute resolution firm model is alive and very well. Following a period of global disruption, changing market conditions present new challenges and opportunities for clients as well as the potential for disputes, highlighting the crucial role of litigation and dispute resolution in achieving sustained business success. Bennett continues to build on its industry leading experience and our growth reflects this market imperative.”
