Aparna Jayasekera

Aparna is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution section of the firm.

Aparna has broad experience in litigation across a variety of Federal and Western Australian jurisdictions.  She has experience in advising and acting for a diverse range of clients in investigations, complex commercial disputes and civil litigation, involving issues of contractual construction and statutory interpretation.

Prior to joining Bennett, Aparna worked at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and acted on a range of commercial litigation matters, including as a Solicitor Assisting the Perth Casino Royal Commission. She was previously a Judge’s Associate at the Federal Court of Australia.

Aparna is a committee member of the Law Society of Western Australia’s Indigenous Legal Issues Committee.
