Brian Aitken

Brian is involved in the strategic development and marketing of Bennett with a primary focus on the professional development of our senior solicitors.

Brian is an experienced Chief Executive Officer, Company Director and Business Consultant. He has a wide range of skills and experience and has operated in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe, Scandinavia and North America.

Brian has been responsible for managing significant change within organisations, focusing on growth, performance improvement, new product and market development, people development and performance management.

Brian was CEO of WAMMCO International from 1995 – 2000; then Chairman of Partners at PKF Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors from 2000 – 2010; and a Senior Advisor at BDO from 2010 – 2019. He also served on the Murdoch University Senate for nine years. Other roles at Murdoch University included Chairman – Audit and Risk Committee, Member Resources Committee, Chairman – Murdoch Foundation, Chairman – Murdoch University Veterinary trust.

Brian is also a Senior Advisor at A Plus Business Advisors and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
