Thomas is a Solicitor in Bennett’s Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution section.

Thomas has experience working across commercial litigation matters in both Federal and Western Australian jurisdictions, including appearing in the Magistrates Court of Western Australia. He also has experience with international commercial arbitration disputes subject to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre Rules.

Thomas has a keen interest in acting for both plaintiffs and defendants in contractual disputes, competition and consumer law claims, actions pursuant to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), employment disputes, negligence claims and defamation actions.

Thomas also undertakes pro bono work for not-for-profit organisations and individuals in need of assistance and is a member of Bennett’s Pro Bono and Community Committees.

Thomas is currently the Education Leader on the Executive of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Law Society of Western Australia. He has a passion for education and in particular he strives to participate in initiatives that will assist in raising the public level of legal knowledge and practical legal skills.

Thomas is also a Board Member of Edmund Rice Camps for Kids Western Australia, a non-profit community based organisation that provides camps and other recreational and developmental activities for children who are ‘at risk’ or experiencing some form of disadvantage.
