The opportunity

This role is part time and can be tailored to suit your needs.  We are happy for you to work eight hours per week over a few days or as one day per week.

You will primarily be responsible for:

Effective coordination of the firm’s debtors, through:

  • Adherence to the firm’s debtor policy and required deadlines;
  • Working closely with our legal and administration team and building good relationships with our clients;
  • Handling of debtor enquiries; and
  • Preparation of regular debtor reports for the Executive Committee.

 

Experience

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years’ work experience in similar role and experience within the legal profession or professional services will be highly regarded.  Other key attributes include:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Familiarity with the operation of trust accounts;
  • Ability to build successful relationships with our varied client group and professional legal staff;
  • An understanding of complex bills;
  • A persistent and diligent approach to your work;
  • Good judgement skills in knowing when to assert pressure or make allowances;
  • Meticulous record keeping skills; and
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
