The last few years have been a roller-coaster for many businesses in the agricultural sector but Western Australian law firm Bennett has been there every step of the way.
Dowerin Machinery Field Days is pleased to have them join once again as a sponsor of the event committing through to 2025.
Bennett implements a ‘people first’ approach to its legal practise, making it a key player in Western Australia’s legal landscape and one of the state’s top litigation and commercial law firms, with a focus on agribusiness.
Dowerin Machinery Field Days General Manager Danielle Green said Bennett’s guiding principles were similar to that of the Field Days, making the partnership a solid and enduring one.
“As the agricultural industry continues to grow and adapt, it’s critical that farmers and other primary producer stakeholders have companies such as Bennett that they can trust with their legal matters concerning employment, intellectual property, commercial law and dispute resolution.
“The industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace and we’re glad to have Bennett onboard to help steer the future of agriculture in Western Australia.”
Bennett Managing Principal Nathan Ebbs said the company had strong historic ties to the regions, with a number of staff being raised on the land.
“This historic link to the land means our staff better appreciate the subject matter they are dealing with, as a result they can better advise our clients in protecting their investments and legacy for future generations, allowing them to stay focused on what matters – their business and livelihood.
‘We understand the benefits and challenges of living in regional areas and working in the many facets of the agricultural industry,” he said. ‘We acknowledge the essential role agriculture plays in the national economy and we are committed to the growth of our agribusiness practice as the sector goes from strength to strength’.
With a 59-year history, Dowerin Machinery Field Days brings together a sold out contingent of exhibitors and 20,000 visitors annually in the Central Wheatbelt town of Dowerin to showcase agricultural-related and general interest products and services.
The 2024 event runs August 28-29 starting with the Bringing Dowerin downtown Lunch, an opportunity for business and political leaders to meet and discuss the issues facing agriculture and regional communities.
Exhibitor applications for Dowerin Machinery Field Days are now open with more information available at dowerinfielddays.com.au.
