About the role
As Bennett’s Senior Legal Technology Coordinator, you will play a pivotal leadership role within our Legal Technology function.
This is a senior, second‑in‑charge (2IC) position, working closely with the Legal Technology & Innovation Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations and keep complex litigation matters running smoothly. You will be a key operational lead across active matters with opportunity to step in as required to ensure continuity and consistency
You’ll oversee matter workflows, manage deliverables, and contribute to firm-wide innovation and process improvement initiatives. The role also offers a unique opportunity to develop and apply in‑court trial support skills, providing hands-on assistance during periods of intensive trial activity.

What you’ll do
Matter management & planning
- Lead scoping for new matters, draft matter plans, track court activity and deadlines
- Support litigation teams working on complex disputes, ensuring matters are well‑planned and ready for trial.
Resource allocation
- Manage the day‑to‑day workflow of Legal Technology Paralegals to assign tasks by urgency and capacity to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensure tasks are delivered on time and workloads remain balanced and sustainable.
Operational leadership & process improvement
- Provide practical guidance on best practice workflows and delivery standards.
- Support and contribute to internal technology, innovation, and process‑improvement projects.
What you’ll bring
- Experience coordinating people, workflows, and stakeholders in a professional services environment.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- A process mindset, with an interest in improving how work gets done through planning, resourcing, and effective use of technology.
- Backgrounds that may suit this role include Senior Paralegal, Legal Operations, Project Coordination/Management, Litigation Support, or similar operational leadership roles.
- Experience working on litigation or dispute matters is highly regarded, but strong coordination and delivery capability is the key requirement.
How you’ll work with us
Working as 2IC to the Legal Technology & Innovation Manager, you will take ownership of the team’s day‑to‑day tasks and act as a central point of coordination between legal teams, paralegals, and specialist vendors, ensuring work progresses with clarity, structure, and purpose.
This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role suited to someone who thrives on structure, momentum, and measurable outcomes.
