Bernard Lock

Bernard is a member of Bennett’s litigation team, bringing extensive legal and commercial acumen to complex commercial and corporate disputes.

He has practised law for over two decades across Western Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Bernard has appeared as counsel in numerous court proceedings, including regularly in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, and has also served as a judicial officer presiding over matters.

He provides pragmatic, strategic, and time-sensitive advice across all facets of litigation and dispute resolution—drawing on strong commercial insight—with a particular focus on the defence sector, as well as employment law. Bernard maintains good relationships with international and local Primes, as well as SMEs, in the defence and related industries and is well-positioned to assist them.
