Michael Harper

Michael Harper is Bennett’s Chief Executive Officer and has been with the firm since its inception in February 2011.

As CEO and a member of Bennett’s Executive Committee, Michael works closely with the Principals and leadership team to oversee the firm’s strategic direction, operational performance and long-term growth. He is responsible for the overall management of the practice, ensuring the firm operates efficiently while continuing to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Michael brings extensive experience in the administration and management of professional services organisations. His role spans financial management, operations, people and culture, technology, governance, supporting the firm’s continued development and strengthening its market position.

Since joining Bennett, Michael has played a key role in establishing and developing the firm’s operational framework and supporting its evolution into a leading Western Australian legal practice. He works closely with the firm’s leadership to develop strategic initiatives, enhance internal systems and processes and foster a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Michael’s leadership approach focuses on enabling the firm’s staff to succeed by ensuring the business infrastructure, systems and support functions operate effectively and align with the firm’s strategic priorities.
