Bennett hosts The Law Society of WA’s Young Lawyers Committee Panel Event as part of Law Week 2025

Last night, Bennett – Litigation and Commercial Law had the privilege to host an important panel discussion run by the The Law Society of Western Australia’s Young Lawyers Committee, a sold out event and part of the larger law week celebrations run by the The Law Society of Western Australia.

Opened by Principal Associate Nilan Ekanayake, and Chaired by YLC Chair and Bennett Associate Thomas Coltrona, the panel of The Hon Dr Andrew Lu AM, Gary Mack, Miriam Power and Nicola Ashford provided attendees of the event with their unique and highly insightful perspectives on how tough conversations in the legal profession can be better dealt with, by both junior and senior practitioners.

Bennett is always happy to support the Young Lawyers Committee, especially with events that provide an opportunity to normalise conversations about mental health and empower all practitioners to create a better profession for us all to work in.

Thank you especially to the The Law Society of Western Australia staff for helping us put on this fantastic event!
